South African rapper Cassper Nyovest still has a dream of filling up Orlando Stadium but he needs around R25 million to make it a reality.
After filling up the Dome last year, Cassper revealed that his next step was to fill up Orlando Stadium. While fans came out in full support of the decision, it all seemed to go quiet for some time.
However, speaking to SlikouronLife recently, the rapper brought the topic back to life as he opened up about the challenges that he’s been facing to make the show a reality.
“Right now I’m doing Orlando Stadium. You won’t believe I’m struggling to get sponsors still … I’m still in meetings explaining what I’m doing,” he said, before pointing that he lost around R3.2 million last year.
He further revealed that he needs R25 million to make his vision come to life.
“I need R25 million because I’m trying to do this crazy thing. I want people to faint on the night and for that to happen I need R25 million.”
“You can come with 5, it is fine. It will help. We need R25 million for this show. I never make any profit from any of these shows – it’s just to shift and grow the culture,” Cassper explained. – TimesLIVE.com
