Brave Warriors and Namibia Premiership giants Orlando Pirates striker Terdius Uiseb has secured a deal with South African National First Division (NFD) side Milano United, according to a report by the Sun newspaper on their website www.sun.co.za.
Milano United coach Boebie Solomons also partially confirmed the Namibian’s arrival, saying he wants to deal with youngsters going forward as he seeks to put an end to general perceptions that the club is a ‘retirement village’.
“I am very excited about the new young talent in my group. Usually I am a coach who goes for experience but not this time – now I want young people who can fight for me and the team. Experienced players think the NFD is a retirement village. Not with me, no way!”
Uiseb joins Milano for an unspecified period as the South African media reported that the new players’ contracts will only be communicated at a later stage. The 27-year-old lethal Namibian front man scored a total 27 goals for Pirates to finish as the league’s top goal scorer last season.
Meanwhile, there are also talks that former Vasco da Gama star Zeka Karkee has been training with Milano. – www.sun.co.za.
