Popular local musician turned businessman Mushe real name Albert Uulenga, had his business broken into last week just before the Easter weekend started. Mushe‘s Omunangeshefa Bar is located on the outskirt of the town of Ondangwa, in Oshana region. Mushe also sells tyres and wood amongst other things from his business premises. The budding musician closed the bar around 02:00 am on the morning of 13 April. At around 0400 two male robbers armed with guns broke into the bar assaulting two male workers and the bar lady and got away with N$7,000 in cash, cigarettes cartoons, airtime recharge vouchers and expensive hard liquor. “They dismantled everything inside my bar, they made a mess in the process and broke two of my jackpot machines,” Mushe said adding that it would cost him around N$35 000 to repair the damaged gambling machines. According to the police in the north investigations into the case continue and no person has yet been arrested in connection with the robbery. However, the businessman and musician said he is not fazed by the robbery and business would continue as usual.
